We have a new theme! I took inspiration and git pulled from hugo-PaperMod. Big reasoning behind this theme is how concise it is to create content that is quick and detailed. To be specific the changes with this new theme include:

  • New Theme
  • Search Page!!
  • 10 posts max per page
  • Have images along side post blocks on the homepage
  • Will have an archives page showing dates and groups of created posts
  • Each post/recipe/changelog will have:
    • Show reading time
    • Copy button for code snippets
    • Bread Crumb on top

At the top of my mind the next changes I have planned are probably going yo be:

  • adding a little bit more color (but not too much)
  • styling the bread crumbs
  • start writing more
    • part of this new theme was to push me to write more on the site, its been a while…
